Instructor:

An accomplished dancer, choreographer, and dedicated instructor, Beatriz has devoted her life to the realm of dance as a performing art. Arriving as an immigrant at the age of 10 to the United States, she pursued her dreams with unwavering determination, transcending personal achievements to extend her passion into mentoring hundreds of children in the central Hollywood area.

With a fervent commitment to imparting her love for dance and the arts, Beatriz has been serving as a dance instructor since 2002. She now guides the second generation of students, children whose parents were part of her initial cohort between 2002 and 2005. Striking a harmonious balance between her artistic and teaching endeavors, Beatriz recognizes the significance of setting an example and providing inspirational guidance.

Her students, who have had the privilege of participating in performances with 3-19 Dance Art, attest to the professional experiences and exposure to the dance world that Beatriz facilitates. Many of her proteges have earned acceptance into prestigious dance programs, including Bancroft Middle School Dance Magnet, Hollywood High School Dance Magnet Program, Ramon Cortines Dance Magnet program, LACHSA, Cal State LA, and Long Beach Ballet School – all renowned programs with audition-only admission processes, a testament to the rigorous training her students undergo.

Beatriz's influence extends beyond the studio and into the community, where she teaches movement and yoga to seniors. The impact she has made on this group is profound, fostering confidence and courage as they not only learn dance choreography but also perform it. Conversations with these individuals reflect the transformative effect Beatriz has had on their lives, health, and perspectives.
